Local Volunteers
If you are a local resident of Cabarete who would like to volunteer, please feel free to stop by our office located in Plaza el Patio, across from Dick’s Bakery on Calle Principal or call 809-571-0497. We would love to have your support. To formally apply, please download and complete the Part Time Volunteer Application and drop it off at the main office or email it to info@dominicandream.org.
Short-Term Visiting Volunteers
Each year we receive many inquiries from people who want to volunteer with DREAM for a short period of time while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. We normally only accept volunteers into our official volunteer programs (Academic Year or Summer Camp) due to the cost of oversight, management, and sometimes ineffectiveness of short-term volunteers. However, if you have a valuable skill such as accounting, translation abilities, or website management, or are able to provide planned workshops for the children, we would love to hear from you. Please send a resume and plan of action to info@dominicandream.org and we will arrange a time to meet and work out a volunteer schedule.
