“Hola, mi nombre es Fernanda. El DREAM Project ha hecho muchas cosas por lo jovenes, pero voy a hablar un  poco de lo que ha hecho por mí­. Cuando yo tenia 12 años yo empecé en la oficina de centro de sueños, yo le ayudaba a organizar y a ser lo que se debe hacer en una oficina.

Ayudaba en la escuela de los pequenos en la merienda y dando los mandados, por un tiempo en la biblioteca, luego estaba aprendiendo en la clase de Inglés y de computadora, después de eso yo estaba en el campamento Guzmán Ariza y me fui desarrollando mas en todo lo que aprendía en el.

De vez en cuando me llamaban para hacer el censo y cuando ellos me llevaban a la calle yo entendía que era algo bueno por que es para ayudar a los incapacitados y los niños de una edad de 3 a 5 años y yo entendía que era bueno.

Poco a poco me he acercado mas al DREAM Project y me siento bien de poder ayudar  las personas que me apoyaron para que siguiera en este programa. Gracias al DREAM Project. Yo entiendo que cuando uno se cae hay que levantarse y si tienes una meta que lograr nunca te rindas y siempre estar positiva de lo que vas hacer.

Lo que mas me gusta del DREAM es como nos enseñan a estudiar y como nos muestran a los de Cabarete su empeño en lo mejor para todo, creo que el DREAM es lo mejor que ha llegado en Cabarete y lo mejor para niños, jóvenes y adultos.

Yo he puesto toda mi confianza en ustedes y creo que pueden hacer algo muy bueno, lo digo por que conmigo han hecho algo mas que eso. GRACIAS.

“Hello, my name is Fernanda. The DREAM Project has done many things for youth, but I will talk a little about what it has done for me. When I was 12 I started in the downtown office of The DREAM Project. I helped to organize and do what you should do in an office.

I helped in the school with the little ones, and ran errands, and for a while I worked in the library. Later I was taking English and computer classes, after that I was in the Guzmán Ariza Summer Camp, further developing everything I learned.

Occasionally, I was called to take the census, and when they took me to the street I understood it was something good because it is to help the disabled and children ages 3 to 5 years, and I understood it was good.

Bit by bit, I grew closer to the DREAM Project and I’m glad I could help people who supported me to continue in this program. Thanks to the DREAM Project, I understand that when you fall there is someone to pick you up, and if you have a goal to achieve, never give up and always be positive of what you do.

What I like the most about the DREAM Project is how they teach us to study and how they show those in Cabarete their commitment to the best for everyone. I think the DREAM Project is the best thing that has come to Cabarete and it’s the best for children, youth and adults.

I have put all my trust in you all and believe you all can do something good. I say that because with me, they have done something more than that. THANKS.
